TLA GRADUATION CEREMONY AND BANQUET

TLA staff, students, families and friends, bid a fond farewell to our three TLA graduates of 2015, Ben
Cengic, Nicholas Lavrik, and Yumna Parker, the class valedictorian. The ceremony at Evergreen
Cultural Centre featured talks by Edward De Vita, Vice Principal, Natalie Hudson Sonnen, National
Director for Life Canada, as well as selections sung to the graduates by the school choir. The evening
banquet was held at The Tea House in Stanley Park.

CHARTRES PILGRIMAGE AND TOUR OF EUROPE

triumph

Our team of pilgrims and chaperones arrived Wednesday, June 3, from their Chartres Pilgrimage and
tour, tired but edified from a wonderful trip. Great thanks to Natalie and John Sonnen from Orbis
Catholicus, our tour company, for making this such a memorable experience. We endeavour to offer
this trip to high school students every second year, so stay tuned for upcoming voyages.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY – CUL DE SAC

A neighbour of the school has expressed serious concerns for the safety of our students in the cul-desac
as drivers rush to get them to school on time. This is a popular drop off spot, and drivers are urged
to use particular caution when driving this route. Drivers are requested to drop of their passengers, and
then leave the area to allow others to deliver their passengers safely.
Thank you for helping keep our students safe!
