WALK-A-THON NEWS

Returns indicate that we have met our $35,000.00 goal, and may have even exceeded it! For the first time in school history, two classes have gone over the $300.00/student average! Stay tuned for updates as the funds are tallied. Any un-submitted funds and pledge sheets should be returned to the school immediately. Please ensure that funds are brought to school in the form of a cheque, and that anyone desiring receipts has the address clearly recorded. Funds should be submitted ASAP so that students may qualify for their tickets to our Walk-A-Thon Prize Assembly slated for Thursday, November 9.

ALL HALLOW’S SAINT PRESENTATIONS TUES., OCT. 31

Parents and families are welcome to join us for our annual saint presentations and devotions at TLA in the Chapel:

  • Primary Presentations will begin at 1:15 PM
  • Intermediate Presentations will begin at 11:00 AM

TAKE YOUR KID TO WORK DAY -WED., NOV. 1ST

Grade nine students will not be in attendance at TLA that day, as they will be going to work with their parents as part of the province wide program.

ALL SOULS SCHOOL DEVOTION,THURS., NOV. 2ND

Students will travel to the Gardens of Gethsemani on Thursday by school bus (K – 12), or by teacher vehicles (grades 6 and up as needed). Parents who would like to help with driving and supervision, please contact the office to let us know of your availability. The weather is forecast to be cold and wet; students should dress for the weather, as the trip takes place rain or shine. Students depart TLA at 9:00 AM and will return to the school by lunchtime.

MEMORIAL MASS FOR MOIRA GARNEAU – NOV. 3

Our annual Mass offered for the soul of Moira Garneau, co-foundress of TLA, will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes church at 10:30, this Friday, November 3. All school families, TLA alumni

CAPITAL FUND DUE: NOVEMBER 15

If you have not already done so, please submit your payments to the office by this date.

STUDENT CELL PHONE POLICY

A reminder that cell phones are not to be used by students between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM
at school; students who need to contact parents by phone, may do so in the office. Cell phones which
are being used during this time will be confiscated.
