2019/2020 Reservation Deposit Past Due
Please submit your reservation deposits with all fully-completed forms (Tuition Agreement and cheques, and Parent Participation Forms) for the coming academic year immediately, in order to avoid the late fee of $50.00, after 9:00 AM, June 5. (Extended Deadline)
TLA GRAD 2019 – Thursday, June 6, 12:00 Noon
We are proud to honour the three members of our 24th TLA Graduating Class! Parents and families of the graduates, TLA grade 2 – 11 students, staff, other TLA parents, and honoured guests, join in celebration of this highlight of the academic year at Evergreen Cultural Centre at 1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC, V3B 7Y3. Students will travel by school bus to the centre, leaving school starting at 10:00 AM, and they will be dismissed from the Theatre at 1:30 PM. The ceremony runs from 12:00 Noon, until 1:30 PM. Grades 10 & 11 students will join the graduates for the reception following. Parents and drivers must collect their grade 2 – 7 students from their home room teachers outside the front door of the theatre at that time. High school students will be dismissed directly following the ceremony to make their own way home. Kindergarten and Grade One students may be picked up from TLA at the regular time, or beforehand by advising the office and teacher.
TLA Talent Showcase Night!
Come see your sons and daughters perform a varied selection of musical and dramatic pieces, in individual, small group, and full choir settings. This will take place at the Queen of All Saints School Gymnasium, Friday, June 7, 2019, at 6:30 PM. Admission is by donation, and all proceeds will support the upcoming musical presentation of Gilbert and Sullivan’s, “Pirates of Penzance” in the 2019/2020 academic year. Join us for an evening to remember.
TLA Library Books Due – Friday, June 7
This is the last call to submit all TLA library books before the deadline to avoid replacement fees!
Grade 7 Camping Trip to Cultus Lake
The Grade Seven class will travel to Cultus Lake for their annual camping trip with teacher, Elizabeth Goody, and Mr. Cameron McManus, June 13 & 14. Students will participate in a selection of camp activities in the scenic lakeshore splendour of the coastal wilderness.
Krispy Kreme Doughnut Extravaganza
This is the last Krispy Kreme sale of the year, sponsored by the Grade Twelve class. Orders must be submitted by Friday, June 7, to make this a successful effort for the Graduates! Order forms will be given out today. Delivery will be early next week – Stay tuned for the big arrival!
Final TLA Bottle Drive – Friday, June 14th
Last chance to rid your homes of recyclables before those lazy, crazy, hazy days of summer begin! Every student who brings recyclables is eligible to win an incentive prize.
Final Exam Dates Modified
Please note that Final Exams for the High School take place Friday – Wednesday, June 14, 17, 18, & 19. High school is not in session on Thursday, June 20th.
Year End School Mass and Awards Day
Our end of year school Mass will take place at Our Lady of Fatima, 315 Walker Street, Coquitlam, at 11:00 AM (Not 10:00 AM as stated on the Calendar). The awards ceremony will follow in the church hall below.
