TLA FUNDRAISING DINNER SUCCESS!

Thank you to all who contributed to the tremendously popular evening – from our coordinator, Rita
Chedraoui, to parent kitchen staff, to the grade eleven and twelve students who set up and served, to
staff members, to Mr. and Mrs. Osmanzai for the table settings, and last, but not least, to our generous
donors and guests. We made close to $8,000.00 profit from the evening.

ROMAN CATHOLIC CHALLENGE OREGON TRIUMPH

Four teams under the guidance and supervision of Miss Son, Mrs. Kenny, Mrs. Biros, Mrs. Akhurst, and
Mr. Dale travelled to Beaverton, Oregon to compete in this annual competition! The senior team, The
Glorious Locks of Samson, with players Sebastian Dee, Anna Chumbe, Maria Koh, Nicholas Dale, and
Jenny Nundal took second place and returned with $1,200.00 (US Dollars) in prizes. The Tongues of
Fire placed second and returned with $300.00 US as a cash prize. Fiat Fans placed third, and the final
team, Servants of God, came in fourth in their division. TLA made quite a splash at the tournament of
over thirty teams from the western US and Canada. Congratulations to all involved.

PHOTO EXPRESS FAMILY PORTRAIT FUND RAISER

opportunity to update their family portraits. Thanks to Mrs. Vicki Guzikowski for running the event.

INTERIM REPORT DATE CHANGE: FRIDAY, FEB. 12

Please note that Interim Reports will not go home today, but rather on this Friday.

CUL-DE-SAC ETIQUETTE

Our local RCMP detachment has been kind enough to provide personnel in this heavy traffic zone to
ensure the safety of our students and families at drop off time. Please assist them in helping us all to
make the area safe for pedestrians.

ASH WEDNESDAY MOMENT OF GRACE

After the school Mass for Ash Wednesday, Fr. Daniel Geddes, FSSP, our school chaplain, brought the
Blessed Sacrament to our school chapel where it will remain permanently.

Come visit our Lord at school!
