Elementary Track Meet; Victoria March for Life; Pub fundraiser

Elementary Track Meet Monday, May 6
Students in grades 3 – 7 will be travelling to Percy Perry Stadium, by school bus and teacher drivers this coming Monday, departing TLA at 10:00 AM. Students will have the first period at school and will travel together to the stadium.
POINTS TO NOTE:

Students must be at TLA at the regular 8:45 AM start time, dressed in their gym strip.

Parents are welcome to attend the event, and students must be picked up at the stadium at 3:15.

FAMILIES who have students in K – 2, and 8– 12, AS WELL AS students in the track meet, may pick up their non track and field students at TLA, beginning at 2:45, to allow them to be at the Stadium by 3:15.

Dogs are NOT ALLOWED at the stadium, please respect this rule of the park.

The stands are dedicated to providing place for the athletes to be seated between events.

Students should wear sun screen and bring water bottles.

A Concession Opening has been requested but IS NOT CONFIRMED. Students should bring drinks and nourishment accordingly.

of good sportsmanship and competition!
Victoria March For Life – Thurs. May 9
All High School students will travel to Victoria for the annual rally on the lawn of the Legislature. Students will arrive at TLA at 6:15 AM in time for us to depart to catch the 9:00 AM ferry to Victoria. Students who miss the 6:30 bus departure may meet us at the Tsawassen BC Ferries Terminal in time to catch the 9:00 AM sailing. Parents should pick up their students at TLA at 7:45 PM that evening.

TLA Pub Night Fundraiser – May 26!
Come with the whole family to enjoy this TLA community get together and fund raiser in support of the school!!! We will meet at Mickey’s Irish Pub, 170 Golden Drive, Coquitlam, on Sunday, May 26 at 5:30 PM. Adults – $25.00 – Gives you a beef, chicken, or veggie burger with fries, and a beverage (beer, wine, or soft drink) – Students aged 13 – 18, (accompanied by their parents) $20.00 (Burgers/fries/soft drink), children 12 and under order from regular menu. Come one, come all!!!
