All Saints Presentations
Students will present their patron saints in the school chapel tomorrow on All Hallows Eve. Grades four to seven students will present beginning at 9:00 AM, and the Primaries, K – 3, will begin at 1:15 PM. Parents and siblings are invited to attend this annual devotion in honour of all the saints above!
All Hallows Visit to the Gardens of Gethsemani
All students in grades K – 12 will travel by school bus and private vehicles (high school only) Friday, November 2, at 9:00 AM, returning to TLA in time for lunch. All students are expected to take part in this annual devotion.
Fun For All at the Fall Fair!
Grade eleven students under the direction of Mr. Cosmas McLaughlin will be hosting an evening of fun-filled-festivities-&-Fireworks, from 4:30 – 8:00 PM, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 31st right here on the grounds of TLA! Students may take part in the costume contest, pie toss, snacks, games, apple bobbing, and MUCH, MUCH, MORE!!! Come enjoy this return to All Hallows Activities at TLA. Tickets may be purchased from Grade 11 students anytime, or on the night.
TLA Walk-A-Thon 2018 – Success
The school walk-a-thon has now topped $35,000.00, with most of the students having turned in their cash and pledge sheets. Any remaining sheets and pledge money should be turned into the office immediately. The Prize Ceremony for the Walk-a-Thon is slated to take place, Friday, November 16.
Take Your Kid to Work Day – Date Change!
Grade nine students will be accompanying their parents to work on Wednesday, November 14th. This had been listed erroneously as November 14, NOT NOVEMBER 1, AS WAS PUBLISHED IN THE TLA CALENDAR. Please make a note of this.
Remembrance Day Holiday
The TLA Remembrance Day observance will take place on Friday, November 9; the statutory holiday falls on Monday, November 12th; school will not be in session on that day.
