REMEMBRANCE DAY OBSERVED

Our annual TLA Remembrance Day Assembly took place Friday, November 9 in the school’s activity
room, with the agenda posted overleaf. High school students travelled to two seniors residences in
Coquitlam to sing a variety of Remembrance Day themed pieces for the residents. Following that, the
grade ten class, accompanied by Mr. Cameron McManus, made their way to Blue Mountain Park, to
assist in the preparations for the Official civic Remembrance Day ceremony on Sunday. They shall
grow not old, as we that are left grow old: age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them.

INTERMEDIATE GRADES TRAVEL TO THE ORPHEUM

Grades four through seven students travelled to the Orpheum Theatre this morning to attend the
Program offered by the VSO for students. One of the best programs so far, the event showcased
pieces from Beethoven, Mozart and more. TLA students are to be commended for their behaviour
during the trip.
