HIGH SCHOOL FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE SET
End of year exams have been scheduled for the High School Students, beginning Wednesday, June
22, and ending Tuesday, June 27. High school students who do not have an exam scheduled during a
morning or afternoon session should not be at school during those times – those who travel to school
with other students and need to report to the supervised study rooms at 8:45 – so they may study quietly
for the 10:00 AM exam block. HS students will have an hour for lunch on campus.
High school students will not be in attendance on Tuesday, June 28.
ARSENIC & OLD LACE A BOX OFFICE HIT!
The TLA High School Production of Arsenic and Old Lace, directed by Mrs. Marion Nundal, with the
added expertise of Mrs. Elizabeth Goody and Mrs. Hilary Randall, played to sell-out audiences June
2&3, in the TLA Pavillion of the Performing Arts. The audience roared at the hilarity written by
playwright, Joseph Kesselring, and delivered by our stellar cast of TLA students. Bravo to all involved!
PARENT PARTICIPATION SUMMERTIME OPPORTUNITIES
- An end-of-summer work bee will take place on Saturday, August 27 at the school. Parents who
wish to take part in the event should let the office know live before July 8th, or by voice message
on the school answering system by August 25. - Light construction projects will be taking place during the summertime, where we require the
assistance of several dads with crowbars and hammers. Please contact Mr. Martin Lavrik directly by
cell phone at 604-771-5115 if you are interested in being a part of this important project! - Library Renovation Project! We need parent participation workers in the month of July, to box
books, build and paint shelves, assist in clearing out the multitude of unused materials, and a
person to work at selling off extraneous items on the internet! Contact Mrs. Elizabeth Goody at

CONGRATULATIONS TO TLA GRADS 2016!
Our TLA 2016 Graduates took part in the moving ceremony at Evergreen Cultural Centre, Thursday,
June 9, at 12:00 Noon. Blessed by TLA Chaplain, Fr. Daniel Geddes, and addressed by Keynote
Speaker, Miss Stephanie Gray, the students then proceeded to the light reception coordinated by Mrs.
Rita Chedraoui and her team of experts in the vestibule and courtyard area, before heading to the
shores of English Bay at the renowned Brock House for that evening’s formal banquet.
