ALL SOUL’S DEVOTION MONDAY

All students in grades K – 12 will be going to the Gardens of Gethsemani by school bus on Monday,
November 2, at 8:50 AM for our annual Poor Souls Devotion. Families are encouraged to meet us at
the Gardens to take part in the prayers for the dead.

PRIMARY ALL SAINTS PRESENTATION TOMORROW 1:15

Parents are invited to attend tomorrow’s afternoon presentation in the chapel as students describe their
chosen saints and we join our prayers with those of the heavenly host.

TLAWALK-A-THON 2015

We are in the final stages of calculating our returns from the annual walk a thon. Prizes will be
distributed to students once all the results have been finalized.

CUL DE SAC TRAFFIC CONCERNS

Parents, Staff and Neighbours have raised concerns regarding dangerous driving in our cul de sac at
the western entrance of the school grounds. Please obey traffic laws and regulations in order that
everyone be safe!

ANNE FRANK PLAY AT TRINITY WESTERN University

High school students in grades 8 – 12 will attend the production on Wednesday, November 4, with the
school bus departing TLA at 10:30 AM, and returning by the end of the day.

RC CHALLENGE TRIUMPH

TLA Roman Catholic Challenge teams won four out of the six prize categories at last weekend’s Sister
Mary John Morriss tournament held at Cloverdale Catholic School in Surrey. 28 teams from 8 Catholic
elementary schools participated in this event and provided stiff competition for our newly formed teams
from TLA. We look forward to the November 21, Monsignor Donald Neumann Championship RC
Challenge competition to be held here at TLA, and then, in the new year, on to Oregon!

VANCOUVER SYMPHONY TRIP – GRADES 4 – 7, NOV. 4

Intermediate classes will be attending the symphony this coming Wednesday for this annual trip.
Leaving at 8:50 – students return to TLA by lunchtime. All fees and permission slips must be in ASAP

FUND RAISING NEWS!!!

We appreciate that it may seem overwhelming when it comes to TLA fundraising events; however, they
are a necessity of life here at the school! We hope that as many of you as possible can be involved in
these activities.

Zumba Fundraiser by Zuzana Lavrikova in support of our new fence on the west side
of the property. Come join the fun and experience fitness with a flair! In the TLA Activity Room, Friday,
November 6, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM – See Office for Tickets.

Monthly Bottle Drive – Friday, November 6. Bring your recyclables to school in bags in the
morning.

TLA Family Portrait Night – $20.00 for a family portrait session with Photo Express photo
source – our new TLA photographer. $15.00 from each family session goes to the school – and families
receive one 8″ X 10″ portrait included with the package. Take this opportunity to have your official
Christmas Family Portrait taken while supporting the school! – Friday, November 20, from 4:00 PM –
9:00 PM– In the Activity Room – SAVE THE DATE; MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW!

Used Clothing Drive – Friday, November 20 – Bring your used clothes to TLA to raise funds for
the school and to support the Canadian Diabetes Foundation – A new monthly event to clear your
closets!

Holiday Gift Shop Fund Raiser – TLA Activity Room – November 26 & 27 – Details to
follow
