REPORT CARDS SENT
Today we mail the final report cards home to parents after a challenging third term of
school due to the suspension of in-class instruction at the beginning of the term. It is
anticipated that these reports should arrive in your homes shortly – if they do not, please
email the office, or leave a message on the school answering machine indicating that
you have not received the report for your children and we will get in touch with you.
SEPTEMBER SCHOOL RE-OPENING
(MINISTRY OF EDUC. NOTICE SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 20TH)
We have been advised that the government will be making its formal announcement
regarding September’s school reopening on Thursday, August 20. Until then we have
been instructed to prepare for all eventualities, so stay tuned for school notices after that
time for updates.
AWARDS & CERTIFICATES 2019/2020
Students receiving awards for the year will have their certificates and any other
inclusions sent home with the report cards. A full list of all award recipients will be
forwarded to all families in the coming weeks.
SCHOOL STARTS SEPTEMBER 8, 2020
We wish everyone a happy summer holiday and look forward to seeing everyone back in
full force in the coming year! Some early calendar dates for the coming year are printed
below; a detailed calendar for the 2020/2021 academic year will be issued in
August/September once the Ministry has announced its plans.

Thursday, October 8 Walk-a-Thon at Mackin Park AM Dismissal from the park at Noon
Friday, October 9 Professional Day – School not in Session
Monday, October 12 Thanksgiving Day Holiday – School Not in Session
Friday, October 16 Term One Interim Reports Issued Wednesday, October 21 Parent/Teacher Conferences
Monday November 2 All Souls Devotion, Gardens of Gethsemani – All Students AM
Wednesday, November 4 TBC Take Your Kid to Work Day – Grade Nine Students Not in Class
Thursday, November 5 TBC School Mass at OLL for TLA foundress Moira Garneau 10:30 AM
Tuesday, November 10 Remembrance Day Assembly In anticipation, 11:00 AM (Weds November 11 – Holiday)
Friday, December 18 Last Day of School Before Christmas Holidays – Dismissal at 3:00 PM
