Week One is Underway!

How good it has been to see students once again at school in our first week back to in-class instruction! Thank you to parents and students for following our protocols at school for entry and dismissal. It has been a smooth transition for these first days, and we look forward to the successful completion of our school year. Parents are reminded that if they wish to send their students back to school during June, and have not already informed us, to give us notice of their intent to return by calling the office.

TLA Graduation 2020

We are pleased to announce that our Graduation Ceremony and banquet will be taking place June 22nd. The two events will be held at Brock House in Vancouver’s West Side, and will be limited to 45 attendees. So the ceremony will be a different one to former years, but we hope to make it an affair that will honour our hard working grads of 2020. Thanks are due to all the work that Mrs. Rita Chedraoui, our TLA Graduation Coordinator has been accomplishing in the background to ensure that our TLA graduates have an event to remember.

Reservation Deposits Now Due

Tuition deposits are now due for the coming school year. If you haven’t already done so, please bring these to the office as soon as possible.

Parent Participation Project

TLA parent, Mrs. Lottie Gamester, will be working with Mrs. Noemi Bucci in coordinating the Parent Participation Program at TLA; we welcome her to our team!

If you have not yet received an email message from Lottie, please contact her at, lottie.gamester@yahoo.ca OR 778-227-4335 with an update – text message is preferred.

Due to the Covid–19 Pandemic Quarantine, the school has approved an extension of the regular deadline for the completion of parent hours, to August 5, 2020. That gives ten weeks of opportunity for everyone to get things done, and then we are off to a new year with new goals.

Student Drop-Off

Just a quick reminder that drivers are not to enter the staff parking lot for student pick up and drop off.

Thank you for respecting this effort to keep students safe.
