Driving Hazards
Parents are urged not to drop off students in the middle of the road at the cul de sac entrance on Howse Place. At the front of the school, drivers are not to park in the areas immediately adjacent to the school front steps and driveways, as these are drop off zones only during those times of the day. Drivers are not permitted to stop in the driveway of the school, as this is also a hazard. Please extend your courtesy to all of our families by keeping these areas open for everyone, and safe for our students.
Gardens of Gethsemani – Tuesday, November 5
All students K – 12 will travel to the cemetery by school bus departing first thing, (and parent drivers for students in grade 5 & up) for our annual All Souls Devotion. Mass will be offered at the cemetery chapel by Fr. Robert Fromageot, FSSP, and then students will make their way around the cemetery praying for the holy souls. We will return to the school during the lunch hour.
TLA Walk-A-Thon Awards – Friday, November 8
Student achievement in the walk a thon will be recognized November 8! To date we have raised very close to our $40,000.00. Thank you to all who have worked so hard for this annual event.
All Saints Presentations Tomorrow
Students will process into the school chapel to present their patron saints on this major feast day of the church. Intermediate students (4 – 7) will begin at 9:00 AM, Primaries (Kindergarten to grade three) will start at 1:30 PM (updated time to that which is . Parents and other family members are invited to attend.
Fall Festival Friday, November 1, 4:30 – 8:30 PM
This fund raising event at TLA hosted by our Grade Twelve class, is back for its second year! The event will feature, face painting, sugar rush, costume relay, lollipop tree, toss games, music, fireworks, prizes, delicious snacks and more! Tickets are 25/$15.00, and these will be used in varying numbers for the different activities. Fireworks start at 8:00 PM!
Calendar Change: Christmas Concert
The new date for our TLA Christmas Concert is Wednesday, December 18, 2019, held at the Mary Pattison Chapel in North Surrey – More information to follow. MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!
The last day of classes is Thursday, December 19, 2019.
