Uniforms and Uniform Repairs
As the Christmas concert approaches, it is doubly important for students to look their best! Haircuts are in order for many of the boys, school dress shoes need to be polished and kept in good condition, the correct shade of medium grey dress trousers, (dress pants as opposed to jeans, cotton, or cargo pants) need to be in place, kilts should be ironed WITH kilt pins in place, school dress shirts should be freshly laundered with school ties in good condition. School sweaters should be in good repair with no tears, holes, or ragged sleeves; kilts need to be knee length, touching the floor when the student kneels.
Mrs. Bucci is offering uniform repairs for $5.00 apiece, with funds going to support the RC Challenge trip to Oregon in February. Please send your items to be fixed, all labeled with the family name, to Mrs. Bucci, no later than Wednesday, December 13, to have things repaired in time for the concert.
Please help us to maintain a formal atmosphere of respect as the students perform on the stage and deport themselves with dignity in our school halls.
Parent Visit Reminder
Parents who wish to drop off items for their children must leave these in the office, rather than proceeding directly to classrooms. All parent helpers and any visitors to the school must check in at the office before moving to the rest of the school. This is for safety reasons and to know who is present in the school at all times.
Ministry of Education and Child Care Survey
Please see overleaf the letter regarding this survey which is to be presented to all families.
Christmas Basket Raffle in Progress
Tickets will be forwarded home on Monday, and we ask families to sell as many as possible to finance the Christmas concert this year. Each family is responsible for selling at LEAST one book.
